News Desk, News Nation 360: TTF (Travel & Tourism Fair) Kolkata 2026, India's oldest and largest travel trade exhibition network organised by Fairfest Media, officially commenced its three-day convention at the Biswa Bangla Mela Prangan in Kolkata on Friday, July 10, 2026. Structurally positioned right before the highly lucrative Durga Puja and winter holiday booking cycles, the massive trade show was inaugurated by a high-profile diplomatic and ministerial delegation—led by Chief Guest Shri Shankar Ghosh (Hon'ble Minister of Tourism & Parliamentary Affairs, West Bengal), Alongside Guests of Honour Satpal Maharaj (Tourism Minister, Uttarakhand), Shri Rohan A Khaunte (Tourism Minister, Goa), and Khun Siriporn Tantipanyathep (Consul-General of the Royal Thai Consulate-General). With over 500 domestic and international exhibitors representing 21 Indian states and six foreign countries, including Nepal, Bhutan, Vietnam, and the United States, the 2026 edition features Thailand as the Featured Country and West Bengal as the Host State following a multi-year break. For an estimated 7,000+ confirmed corporate travel trade professionals, the first two days of the event are exclusively dedicated to high-value B2B industry networking; on the last day, the event shifts into a dynamic B2C setting for members of the general public. Sanjiv Agarwal, the founder and CEO of Fairfest Media, emphasised that the arrival of a new state administration has brought significant corporate optimism to the area, strengthening Kolkata's standing as the main outbound consumer source market and commercial gateway, propelling the larger economy of Eastern and Northeastern Indian tourism.
