News Desk, News Nation 360 : During Binod Kumar, MD & CEO of Indian Bank's recent visit to Kolkata from 29th May to 31st May, 2025, the bank completed a series of high-impact events and strategic discussions. The visit demonstrated the bank's commitment to customer-centric innovation, infrastructural improvements, and increased stakeholder involvement in Eastern India. Commenting on the developments, Binod Kumar, MD & CEO of Indian Bank, stated that Kolkata is a significant region in their national footprint. They are reinforcing Indian Bank's commitment to quality, inclusivity, and innovation by having meaningful interactions with their valued customers and devoted employees, as well as engaging with key government functionaries. The introduction of their new SB products for NR consumers demonstrates their forward-thinking approach to serving every Indian, anywhere. Binod Kumar ended a three-day trip to Kolkata, which involved strategic interactions and important initiatives for Indian Bank. He attended a Parliamentary Committee Meeting and met with Dr Manoj Pant, Chief Secretary, Government of West Bengal, to discuss collaborative functions in line with the state's financial inclusion and development objectives. The next day was an important milestone with the inauguration of Indian Bank's newly refurbished Bank House. Binod Kumar also called on the Alipore Branch and Alipore Staff College, interacting with frontline employees and inspecting operations. A High Net-worth Individual (HNI) Customer Meet was organised in Hotel Marriott to have direct interaction with high-end customers, in line with the relationship-focused approach of the Bank. The day ended with a Town Hall Meeting, during which Binod Kumar spoke to staff members, thanking them and presenting the Bank's strategic vision.
