Indian Pharmacy Graduates' Association and Guru Nanak Institute of Pharmaceutical Science and Technology Jointly Hosted MIINDV 2024

News Desk, News Nation 360 : The Indian Pharmacy Graduates' Association (IPGA), Bengal Branch, and the prestigious Guru Nanak Institute of Pharmaceutical Science and Technology (GNIPST) under JIS Group Educational Initiatives successfully organised the International Conference MIINDV 2024 at the Dhana Dhanya Auditorium. Prominent figures from throughout the country and beyond attended the conference, which had as its theme the "Make in India Initiative for New Drugs and Vaccines." Notable attendees included Prof. David L. Whitford, Vice Chancellor of the University of Cyberjaya, Malaysia; Dr. Montu Kumar M. Patel, President of PCI, Chief Guest of the event; Deepnath Roychowdhury, Managing Director of Strassenburg Pharmaceutical Ltd.; Sardar Taranjit Singh, Managing Director, JIS Group; Sardar Amrik Singh, Deputy Managing Director, JIS Group; Simarpreet Singh, Director of JIS Group; Prof. (Dr.) Abhijit Sengupta, Chairman of MIINDV 2024, Director of GNIPST and Tapan Kumar Chowdhury, Co-Chairman of MIINDV 2024, Vice President of IPGA. Additionally, esteemed academicians like Dr. Atul Kumar Nasa, President of IPGA, and Dr. Dipendra Singh, Chairman of Educational Regulation at PCI, graced the event. A brief introduction outlined the main goals of MIINDV 2024, including pharmacogenomics, personalised medicine, novel drug discovery, emerging medical technologies, and green pharmaceutical manufacturing. After Prof. Whitford's keynote talk on Type II Diabetes and associated interventions, GNIPST and the University of Cyberjaya signed a Memorandum of Understanding, which was a major highlight of the conference. Award presentations, and technical discussions with leading authorities including Prof. (Dr.) Shyamnandi of ICMR, and informative talks on diverse pharmaceutical innovations were other highlights of the event. The top three poster presenters then received awards acknowledging their excellent achievements.
