News Desk, News Nation 360 : Kolkata hosted the opening of INDPLAS'25, the 10th iteration of the Indian Plastics Federation's (IPF) triennial flagship show. The largest business-to-business plastics show in Eastern Biswa Bangla Mela Prangan (Milan, India) is a four-day international event that brings together domestic and international plastics industry leaders to discuss opportunities in this quickly expanding region. Ashok Jajodia, Chairman, INDPLAS'25 Exhibition Organising Committee, stated that INDPLAS'25 serves as a forum for cooperation, investment, and innovation in addition to being an exposition. Given how quickly the plastics industry is growing in Eastern India, this event will spur new collaborations, technological developments, and economic opportunities. attended by Dr Shashi Panja, Honourable Minister Department of Industries, Commerce & Enterprise, Guest of Honour Vandana Yadav, IAS, Principal Secretary-Department of Industries, Commerce & Enterprises, and many key leaders of the industry promoting the theme "The Future is East" and highlighting the vast growth and investment potential the region offers; later, the Invest Bengal Seminar gave a further statement about the evolving industrial scenario in West Bengal, elaborating on the incentives to fuel investor interests and how the State Government envisions facilitating the growth of business, with industry experts, policymakers, and key stakeholders giving insights regarding why the state is becoming a stronghold for plastic manufacturing, courtesy of a far-enhanced infrastructure, bettered ease of doing business, and an adequately skilled workforce.
