Mahindra Opens State-Of-The-Art Training Facility in Kolkata

The Mahindra Institute of Learning Excellence (MILE), which occupies more than 12,000 square feet, will be essential in improving the technical proficiency of the Mahindra Channel Partners, International Distributors, and Fleet Owners. Mahindra has launched a new state-of-the-art training centre in Kolkata to train its service network for the future of the automobile industry, including electric vehicles. The centre provides training on Mahindra Electric Origin SUVs with INGLO electric architecture, MAIA intelligence, battery technology, and advanced diagnostics. With a capacity to train more than 100 participants at one time, the facility, strategically positioned, boasts five-plus demonstration bays for hands-on practice, state-of-the-art collision repair facilities, and exclusive aggregate overhaul areas for conventional powertrains (engines, transmissions, axles, differentials, and automatic transmissions) as well as electronically assisted transmissions (EATs) in line with BS6 and 6.2 norms. By combining EV training with traditional powertrain servicing, Mahindra is actively preparing its technicians for the mobility future, showcasing its dedication to technical superiority, after-sales innovation, and customer-centric solutions. Specifically for Mahindra clients in the East and North-East regions, this facility will guarantee excellent after-sales service and a smooth ownership experience, catering to the expanding demands of India's changing automotive scene.
