Mariners De Hearts Organised the "De Hearts Championship 2026"

News Nation 360: The “De Hearts Championship 2026,” organised by the Mohun Bagan fan collective Mariners De Hearts, took place on May 10, 2026, at the Belgharia Lake View Turf, beginning with a cultural dance to commemorate Pachishe Baishakh. The event saw the participation of notable figures, including Mohun Bagan Executive Committee member Sanjay Ghosh and Bengal Women’s Handball coach Shubhadip Bhattacharya, who also competed in the tournament. In a poignant tribute to Mother’s Day, the Winners Trophy was dedicated to the memory of Shampa Bose, the late mother of Club Secretary Srinjoy Bose, while the Runners-up Trophy honoured the late Shanti Chakraborty. On the field, Rajen Sengupta XI claimed the championship title by defeating Shyam Thapa XI, concluding an event marked by high energy and a deep sense of community among local football enthusiasts.
