News Desk, News Nation 360 : To increase their manufacturing capacity and establish themselves in the retail market, Acme Moulders & Furniture Private Limited, a well-known company in the Indian sitting furniture sector, aims to invest more than Rs 100 crores in Omacme, their flagship brand. Omacme, founded in 1985 by Gouri Shankar Daga under the name Acme Moulders & Furniture Private Limited, has grown to be a major player in India's seating industry, selling its large range of products across the country through an extensive dealer network. Based out of a 1,10,000 sq ft state-of-the-art factory in Sodepur, with integrated processes and latest machinery, Omacme manufactures more than 1000 chairs and tables per day, ranging from home, office, institutional, banquet, auditorium, and cafe furniture to different types of tables. The Omacme brand, initiated in 2010 by Ajay Daga, Managing Director & CEO, initially dealt with cost-effective seating solutions, leveraging the company's strength in moulded plywood. Currently, Omacme has two sub-brands: Omacme Series, providing simple and cost-effective chairs for various requirements, and Omacme Luxe, addressing the luxury segment with high-end, yet reasonably priced, furniture, as well as offering product customization to address individual customer requirements. Ajay Daga, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer, Omacme stated that the goal of Omacme is to become the nation's top furniture maker by providing their clients with value-adding, long-lasting, and high-quality items along with the best services available, from design to delivery. Since they intend to invest more than Rs 100 crore by 2030, they have a strong expansion plan in place. By 2026, they plan to create a new manufacturing facility in Kolkata, and by 2028, they plan to expand their retail footprint by establishing ten more Omacme design studios in major cities.
