SERVES FOR NATION

News Desk, News Nation 360: On March 20, the Guru Nanak Institute of Dental Sciences and Research (GNIDSR), a JIS Group project, commemorated World Oral Health Day 2026 by presenting "Dr Molar Bear, " a unique teaching figure created to encourage good oral hygiene. In keeping with the worldwide theme "A Happy Mouth is a Happy Life," the program used storytelling to engage kids and teens. It told the story of a bear who overcame excruciating tooth pain to become a dentist committed to teaching others. In order to encourage the local community to adopt preventative care behaviours, GNIDSR students used this character-driven method to clarify difficult dental ideas across a variety of specialities. Director of JIS Group Sardar Simarpreet Singh praised the innovative endeavour, saying that it effectively blended student creativity with community healthcare to convey a powerful message about the fundamental significance of oral cleanliness for general well-being.
