Platform 8 Launches A New Romantic Comedy Khanikta Premer Mato

News Desk, News Nation 360 : Platform 8 will celebrate love in all its flawed beauty this Valentine's Day by launching its next Bengali web series, Khanikta Premer Mato, on February 14, 2026. The contemporary romantic comedy, which was directed by Rahool Mukherjee, is a touching and amusing examination of modern relationships, emotional development, and second chances. Khanikta Premer Mato follows the story of a young couple, Ujaan and Mohona, played by Rahul Dev Bose and Megha Chowdhury, with the latter film featuring a romance story depicting the highs and lows endured by a young couple as they trek through the relationship minefield of today’s world. With the picturesque backdrop of the hills of Darjeeling, the relationship between Ujaan and Mohona, marked by conflicting personality traits, leads to a cycle of emotional stress, which culminates in a breakup. Amidst all this, a sub-romantic story takes shape as Ujaan’s cousin, Priyam, and Mohona’s roommate, Shreya, set their minds to reconcile the original couple. Created

by Sadeep Bhattacharya, the show features a diverse cast with Avery Singha Roy, Durbar Sharma, and Rishav Chakraborty lending depth and richness to the story. While important issues are woven into the narrative, it is the use of music that provides emotional depth to the storytelling. A soulful soundtrack starring Shilajit Chakraborty and Aishwarya Sen beautifully portray the complexity of matters relating to the heart and heart. Yet, it remains to be seen whether it is perfection that is needed in matters of heart and mind, or simply the willingness to modify and adapt. In the process, it ultimately indicates that even a fleeting relationship can leave a lasting impression.
