SERVES FOR NATION
News Desk, News Nation 360 : Mahesh Makhija, Founder, Chairman & Managing Director, QMS MAS, stated that their goal is to transform PSPs into tech-enabled ecosystems that promote quantifiable health outcomes in addition to patient support. Historically, India's patient support programs (PSPs) were dominated by multinational pharmaceutical companies, with Saarathi Healthcare leading the way by conceptualising patient-focused chronic disease management programs and generating a multinational client base. Following QMS Medical Allied Services Ltd.'s majority stake acquisition and progress toward outright ownership of Saarathi, Indian pharma businesses became more involved in PSPs, transforming healthcare provision. Together, QMS MAS and Saarathi have treated 2.5 lakh patients from over 100 cities with initiatives in the field of diabetes, cardiology, respiratory care, and other long-term illnesses. They serve over 130 institutional clients, including 50 top pharma companies, with a massive network of over 5,000 pin codes. Their robust healthcare staff boasts over 900 dieticians and 135 certified DMLTs, employing sophisticated diagnostic equipment that has a coverage of 35 km. Looking ahead, PSPs are expected to evolve into integrated, technology-driven patient engagement ecosystems, and QMS MAS, leveraging Saarathi’s legacy and its own scale, aims to lead this transformation by uniting pharma companies, healthcare professionals, and patients on a single platform to improve outcomes and build stronger trust.
