Ruby Cancer Centre is an extremely modern and state-of-the-art cancer centre. It has treated individuals in Eastern India for the last decade. On the foundation day of the hospital, a second state-of-the-art radiotherapy machine was inaugurated. It is the Varian TrueBeam, Version 3.0. It is an extremely user-friendly machine. These two systems, the Varian TrueBeam and the Digital PET CT, shall bring Ruby Cancer Centre to the number one position as a cancer care hospital in Eastern India. Ruby General Hospital shall be opening 30 outreach Cancer Speciality Clinics as a part of its 30-year celebration. These shall be located in various districts of West Bengal in the financial year 2025-26. The first clinic is being opened in Burdwan. This clinic will provide specialised oncology consultations three times a week. It will also have a Multidisciplinary Tumour Board once per month, beginning in July 2025. This is for early detection, which improves survival rates. It also maximises proper treatment planning with multidisciplinary input. This will decrease waiting times for treatment. It will also enhance patient outcomes. The price of treatment will be lower, and patients will enjoy a better quality of life.
