Shubhayu Health and Wellness Centre Opened by Cini

News Desk, News Nation 360: The Child in Need Institute (CINI) has now launched its Shubhayu Health and Wellness Centre at its Pailan office in South Kolkata on March 5, 2026. This is in response to the rise in non-communicable diseases, fueled by rapid urbanisation, a sedentary lifestyle, and environmental factors. The Shubhayu Health and Wellness Centre has been launched by Shri Dilip Mondal, the West Bengal Minister of State for Transport, and is dedicated to preventive health care for mothers, children, and youth. The Founder-Secretary, Dr Samir Chaudhuri, said that Shubhayu is dedicated to fighting the physical and social health stagnation that is further fueled by modern technology. The Shubhayu Health and Wellness Centre has specialised clinics in mental health, weight management, nutrition, and mother care. The CEO, Dr Indrani Bhattacharyya, added that the Thursday Clinic has already made health care easily accessible to the community. By providing all this under one roof, CINI is reaffirming its commitment to community-based health care, a commitment that has been in place for five decades, and is geared to face the health care challenges that the coming ten years will throw its way.
