News Desk, News Nation 360: Tanishq, India’s largest jewellery retail brand from the House of Tata, hosted a special evening at South City Mall on March 15, 2026, dedicated to the "Srijonis" of Bengal—women who shape and inspire Bengali culture every day. Attended by over 200 visitors, the event centred on the theme “Srijonis of Notun Bangaliyana,” encouraging mall-goers to pause and reflect on the vibrant women in their lives through a powerful narrative of empowerment. The activation featured a screening of the Srijoni film and was hosted by RJ Nilanjana, who facilitated an interactive dialogue where visitors shared personal stories of the mothers, mentors, and friends who have inspired them. A significant highlight of the evening was a live spoken-word poetry performance by actress Saoli Chatterjee, which celebrated the resilience, dignity, and quiet courage that Bengali women embody as they redefine the culture of Bengal through their everyday creativity. The experience created a heartfelt atmosphere of collective celebration and thunderous applause, serving as a tribute to the multifaceted power of women and the enduring spirit of the Srijoni in modern society.
