SERVES FOR NATION

News Desk, News Nation 360 : The biggest jewellery retailer in India, Tanishq, a division of the Tata family, threw an exclusive, invite-only event at Westside Pavilion for its esteemed clientele that featured the city's most renowned natural diamond collections. The event, which was part of a small number of private gatherings in strategic cities, was intended to celebrate Tanishq's modern design philosophy and craftsmanship while enhancing consumer understanding of natural diamonds by launching the Diamonds Expertise Centre. Tanishq has launched the Diamond Expertise Centre (DXC). This is not only an innovative initiative but also brings technology and the De Beers Group under one umbrella to simplify the entire process of buying diamonds. The entire operation has five different high-tech diagnostic pieces of equipment: Lightscope, SynthDetect, Hearts & Arrows Viewer, Girdle Marking Viewer, and Inclusion Viewer, so that the customer may be able to verify the authenticity and brilliance of the diamond on her/his own. Instead of making tall claims, what customers will get here is actual, scientifically backed evidence for them. The launch rolled out alongside the Festival of Diamonds, which is a showcase of fine jewellery from various high jewellery lines. What’s interesting about Rarest of Rare is that this line has one-of-a-kind masterpieces. Some of the other standout lines include Radiance in Rhythm, which has been inspired by the dynamics of fluid motion and contemporary femininity, while another line, Mriganka, has taken traditional motifs and revisited them with a contemporary twist. Aabahon is also of interest for its reference to traditional Bengali weaving techniques known as Shola and Daaker Shaaj. This has ensured that the audience realises that, essentially, only 5% of diamonds qualify for the criteria of symmetry. The idea of Tanishq is to increase the level of trust and confidence through the use of laboratory-grade technology during the diamond-buying season. This, in turn, is a part of a broader trend of immersive retail experiences within the luxury market. Speaking on the occasion, Sah Gaurav Krishna, Regional Business Manager, East, Titan Jewellery Limited, stated Through this, Tanishq aims to help customers understand the diamonds they select through experiences like the Diamond Expertise Centre, which are backed by science, clarity, and workmanship. Customers in Kolkata are a significant market for them since they show a great respect for high-end, design-driven jewellery. The Kolkata event brought this philosophy to life by combining an immersive DXC experience with a curated fashion showcase of their signature natural diamond and gold collections, reaffirming Tanishq’s commitment to design excellence and guided jewellery buying.
