News Desk, News Nation 360: High school students from all over Kolkata are invited to participate in the 2026 edition of Tata Consultancy Services' (TCS) flagship, pan-India inter-school knowledge competition, TCS InQuizitive, which has officially opened online registration. The highly regarded tech and business quiz, which has been running continuously for 28 years since it was first introduced as TCS IT Wiz in 1999, is designed as a gamified learning platform for students in Grades 8 through 12, including those enrolled in junior colleges and pre-university programs. Twelve major Indian hubs, including Kolkata, Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Bengaluru, Pune, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Kochi, Bhubaneswar, Indore, and Nagpur, are scheduled to host the 2026 regional qualifiers. The top-tier winning teams from each regional finale will advance straight to the crucial national semi-finals and grand finale in Mumbai. Sudeep Kunnumal, Chief Human Resources Officer at TCS, highlighted the platform's clinical relevance by citing Stanford University's 2025 Global AI Vibrancy Tool, which ranked India as the third most competitive country in the world in artificial intelligence. Kunnumal further stated that TCS is deeply committed to fostering a self-sufficient digital economy by fortifying STEM foundations for upcoming innovators. As a result, this year's edition introduces an aggressive, sharper focus on cutting-edge technical verticals, specifically testing participants on artificial intelligence, cloud computing architectures, intelligent automation, biometrics, and robotics, while the extensive quiz syllabus still tests standard consumer domains like business trends, global advertising, social media, entertainment, and sports. Before the city-specific registration deadline, high school pairs that are keen to demonstrate their analytical thinking must electronically submit their official group submissions via the portal at https://www.tcs.com/inquizitive.
