News Desk, News Nation 360 : Techno India business, Eastern India's largest private education business, has launched the fifth edition of Techno Olympica Knights, a major inter-school sports competition. This year's event will run until December 17th, 2025, and is expected to attract even more participants, including around 3000 children from 158 schools in West Bengal. This high-decibel competition will involve students from grades I through XII and is open to all educational boards. Techno Olympica Knights offers a wide choice of sports for both boys and girls, including chess, swimming, athletics, air rifle shooting, archery, football, Kabaddi, table tennis, badminton, basketball and volleyball. These events will take place at several renowned sites throughout the city, including the SAI, Spurdy, Subash Sarobar, and Techno Main Campus, Salt Lake. The grand inauguration ceremony was attended by eminent guests, including Chief Guest, Prannoy H.S., and
renowned Indian badminton player, Prof Marco Abate. Amar Jyoti, Executive Director, SAI Regional Centre, Kolkata; Hansi Premjit Sen, Referee & Judge, World Karate Federation & Asian Karate Federation, President Karate Association of Bengal; Lakshman Dongari, Assistant Director, Sports Authority of India, and Prof. Manoshi Roychowdhury, Co-Chairperson, Techno India Group. Prof Manoshi Roychowdhury, Co-Chairperson, Techno India Group, stated that Techno India Group believes in holistic development, and this program demonstrates our dedication to enhancing students' physical and mental well-being. This year marks the fifth edition, with 158 schools, 18 disciplines, and over 3000 students participating. Techno Olympica Knights provides a platform for children to demonstrate their talents, develop resilience, and make long-lasting connections. This year, FIT INDIA recognised their sports program and collaborated with them on the 5th edition of "FIT INDIA - Techno Olympica Knights," making the celebration of fitness and sportsmanship even more meaningful.
