The 2025 National Kyorugi Seminar and Refresher Course Was Held in Digha With Great Success

News Desk, News Nation 360 : The Taekwondo Association of West Bengal, being under the auspices of INDIA Taekwondo, was able to organise a historic event. It was the 2025 National Kyorugi Seminar & Refresher Course. This was organised at Jyotsna International Hotel, Digha, from June 9th to 12th, 2025. This was the first event of this kind in West Bengal. This national seminar was attended by 51 people. They were referees, coaches, and practitioners from all over the country. The program also targeted the enhancement of technical proficiency. It also reiterated standard officiating practice. It synchronised Indian Taekwondo experts with World Taekwondo (WT) rules. Senior Master Amit Aggarwal taught the intensive course. He is a respected World Taekwondo International Referee (Class 1) and renowned Educator. He took trainees through comprehensive theoretical sessions. He also gave on-hand practical demonstrations. The emphasis was on new WT Kyorugi rules. Electronic scoring systems and match management procedures were also addressed. His trainer's expertise allowed participants to gain vital insights and useful skills. These are required for national and international competitions. Taekwondo Legend Grand Master

Pradipta Kumar Roy also graced the seminar with his presence. He is the General Secretary of the Taekwondo Association of West Bengal. He is an iconic figure in Indian Taekwondo. During his motivational address, Grand Master Roy stressed the importance of continuous learning. Technical progress and professionalism in the sport so that it could compete globally were also highlighted by him. Distinguished guests had also been present, such as Sk. Habibur Rahaman, Chairman, DPSC, Purba Medinipur & Co-Mentor, Purba Medinipur Zila Parishad and Kaushik Barik, President, Ramnagar 1 Block. Pioneer Taekwondo Personality Senior Master Ruma Roy Chowdhury was present. Rajib Bera, Purba Medinipur Taekwondo Association President, & Senior officials, local leaders, and members of the Taekwondo fraternity attended. Their presence reinforced the need for collaboration among sports bodies and local government. This aids in fostering Taekwondo talent. The success of the 2025 National Kyorugi Seminar & Refresher Course indicates West Bengal's increasing significance as a centre of Taekwondo excellence. It also reaffirms its position in the national Taekwondo landscape. Through such initiatives, the state remains an integral part. It is building the future generations of technically sound and internationally competitive Taekwondo experts.
