News Desk, News Nation 360: In honour of the International Day of Happiness, Monoshij, the Techno India Group's mental health division, held its fifth edition of the Happiness Fair on March 20, 2026, at its Salt Lake location. This year, the exhibition, which was started by Prof. Manoshi Roychowdhury, Co-Chairperson of Techno India Group, developed into a thriving movement with a primary focus on "Social Media and Well-being." The panel discussion "Unfolding Identity: Conversations on
Belonging and Happiness," which included Prof. Roychowdhury, psychologist Dr Smaranika Tripathi, and choreographer Sudarshan Chakraborty, was a significant highlight. It examined the relationship between digital life and genuine self-expression. Over 200 students participated in a "Happiness Walk," a symbolic kite-flying session, and an animated discussion on "Happiness in the Age of Algorithms." The event included an LGBTQ+ Ramp Walk to promote self-expression and a variety of cultural displays, such as a Bihu dance performed by Techno India University students, in a potent statement for inclusivity. Monoshij reaffirmed its dedication to establishing a secure, encouraging campus atmosphere where each person's identity is recognised and cherished as a cornerstone of emotional wellness by fusing traditional celebrations with contemporary mental health discourse.
