News Desk, News Nation 360 : JIS Group successfully conducted a three-day Drone Training Course at the Dr. Sudhir Chandra Sur Institute of Technology and Sports Complex, marking a relevant and forward-thinking step as drone technology increasingly shapes contemporary approaches to both civilian and strategic concerns. The JIS DRONE ACADEMY organised the course, which attracted more than fifty students who were keen to learn about and comprehend the changing role of unmanned aerial systems in the modern world. A recent training session for drone pilots, most probably conducted in the Kolkata region, gave students complete training under the able guidance of Sobhan Chakraborty, Suvendu Mondal, and drone expert Rakesh. The course material spanned both theoretical concepts and practical operation, from fundamental flight dynamics and airspace rules to real-time aerial navigation, and involved exposure to various applications in fields like precision agriculture, ecological mapping, security surveillance, and infrastructure monitoring. Realising the growing role of drones in such fields as national security and ecological management, the course positioned drones as tools of both preservation and protection, emphasising their application in sustainable agriculture activities such as crop health examination and irrigation scheduling. Notably, participants were also instructed on the process of acquiring a certified drone pilot license, getting insight into the legalities, compliance structures, and new career prospects in this fast-growing industry. The training was structured with emphasis on practical utility, equipping students for critical situations where these skills are essential. Each participant was awarded a certificate and departed with a newfound sense of the duty and capability associated with dominance over drone technology.
