The Institute of Cost Accountants of India and JIS University Signed a MoU at the 47th International Kolkata Book Fair 2024

News Desk, News Nation 360 : The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI) and JIS University (JISU) have inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to fortify their strategic alliance and promote cooperative projects in the fields of professional development and education. Srinivasa Prasad, Council Member; CMA Dr. Kaushik Banerjee, Secretary, ICMAI; CMA Dr. D.P. Nandy, Sr. Director, ICMAI attended the signing ceremony at the Kolkata International Book Fair Ground. The MoU calls for the regular

exchange of course materials, case studies, research publications, and other academic and research inputs between ICMAI and JISU, which will enhance the educational experience of both faculty and students. The two organisations will work together to develop the curriculum and will offer assistance and collaboration in this regard. The curriculum will be developed for both academic and continuing education programmes. Faculty members or nominees may participate jointly in committees and bodies dedicated to curriculum development. As mutually agreed upon by both parties, the MoU permits the sharing of facilities like infrastructure, libraries, reading rooms, etc., thereby promoting resource optimisation. The MoU demonstrates the organisations' shared commitment to improving education through collaborative efforts across multiple fields. The Joint Organisation of Workshops, Seminars, and Training Programmes, wherein ICMAI and JISU will work together to conduct workshops, seminars, continuing education, and training programmes on topics of current and professional interest, is one of the agreement's main highlights. The intended audience for these programmes includes JISU students, faculty members, corporate executives, and working professionals. Speaking on this occasion, Sardar Simarpreet Singh, Director of JIS Group, said that the signing of the MoU signifies the start of a cooperative endeavour to make a substantial contribution to research, professional development, and education. With the signing of this MoU, they look forward to a successful collaboration and the expansion of each institution's own.
