News Desk, News Nation 360: Gullas College of Medicine, Inc. (GCM) opened a new chapter in its long history as it hosted the 46th Commencement Exercises for Batch Xanthron 2026 at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel & Casino in the Philippines. Over one thousand students from all around the world graduated from the renowned medical institution, including 951 Indian medical students. These students took over the majority of the top positions at the GCM’s Top 10. The theme for the academic year was “GCM Physician: Rooted in Compassion, Driven by Excellence, Committed to Service.” Many local and international media personalities, including The Manila Times Owner Michael Alexander Ang, Governor Edwin I. Jubahib, Transplant Critical Care Specialist Dr Karthik Raj Manoharan, and Transworld Educare’s CEO & Founding Chairman Dr David Pillai, were present at the event. The new physicians demonstrated their outstanding organisational and leadership skills as they received awards such as the Outstanding Leadership Award: Parekh Sahil Dineshbhai, and Student Services Leadership: Godase Uday Prasenkumar & Upadhyay Purva. In addition, the batch of 2026 witnessed the highest results of the GCM students in the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) in India. Dr Dabgar Niravkumar Kalidas secured the second position, and Dr Khushi Nilaybhai Sanghvi got the highest score in the January 2026 session. The graduates of GCM are well-known for being among the best medical doctors trained both locally and internationally and have been delivering quality healthcare services for almost 50 years.
