The International New Star Award Ceremony and Cultural Festival took place in Kolkata

Several important people attended the event, including Tollywood actress Papia Adhikari, film director Badal Sarkar, director and editor Soumen Sen, Biplab Ghosh, Amarnath Sen, and Aditi Mukherjee, among others. Over a hundred people who demonstrated exceptional talent in a variety of professions were honoured during this ceremony and festival. Soumen Sen, director and editor of International New Star, stated that currently, a segment of the younger generation has abandoned books and, as a result, has become disconnected from culture.
