News Nation 360: With the introduction of Lay's® Mini Stix, the brand's first stick-format potato snack in India, PepsiCo India's famous Lay's® brand has broadened its product line and strategically connected its potato legacy with the well-liked Indian savoury snacking sector. The product, which debuted in April 2026, offers fusion-inspired masala flavours and a "palmable" horizontal pack style for convenient on-the-go scooping. PepsiCo India's CMO of Foods, Saakshi Verma Menon, characterised the launch as an innovation-driven strategy to seize new snacking opportunities and steer the development of the Indian market. Lay's® Mini Stix, which debuted first in East India at affordable price ranges of ₹5 and ₹10, intends to provide a familiar yet pleasantly crunchy experience. A gradual rollout for North and West India is expected to strengthen the brand's position as a versatile companion for contemporary Indian consumers.
