News Desk, News Nation 360: On the auspicious date of Lord Jagannath's Rath Yatra, the Naba Yubak Sangha completed the sacred Kathamo Puja (worshipping the basic wooden frame of the deity), formally starting the structural countdown for Kolkata's famous, fifty-year-old "Fatakeshto" Kali Puja. The historic ceremony, which is held at the Kumartuli studio of famous master clay craftsman Minto Pal at 511 Rabindra Sarani, officially ushers in the creative production phase for the festival's historic 69th edition at 53B, Keshab Chandra Sen Street in North Kolkata. Speaking to the media right after the sanctification of the framework, Prabandha Roy (Fanta), the organising secretary of the 'Fatakeshto' Kali Puja, reiterated that Minto Pal will sculpt the towering idol in strict adherence to the distinctive, heritage-rich ancient design style that has uniquely anchored this flagship North Kolkata autumn festival for nearly seven decades, ensuring it remains a premier center of visual attraction and deep civic devotion for millions of incoming pilgrims.
