West Bengal Anticipates Around ₹15,000 Crores in Investments From Ambuja Neotia Group Over the Next Five Years

News Desk, News Nation 360 : One of the top commercial giants in East India, Ambuja Neotia Group, has revealed a bold five-year investment plan for West Bengal worth over ₹15,000 crores. Reiterating the Group's long-term commitment to the state's economic growth and development, the investments will cover a variety of industries, including healthcare, hospitality, tourism, residential and commercial real estate, and a first-of-its-kind golf-themed township. The Ambuja Neotia Group has announced a major investment in West Bengal, amounting to ₹15,700 crores in various key sectors. In the health sector, ₹1,500 crores will be used to establish five new hospitals: three in Kolkata, one in Durgapur, and one in Siliguri, with 1,300 beds. Hospitality and tourism will get ₹2,700 crores. Of this, ₹1,200 crores will be for developing seven luxury hotels in partnership with Taj Hotels across

destinations like Darjeeling, Digha, and the Sundarbans, adding 600 five-star rooms, and ₹1,500 crores for two convention hotels in Kolkata and Siliguri, adding 800 rooms. One of the significant highlights is the investment of ₹5,000 crore into the first international-standard golf township in Bengal, which will encompass an 18-hole course, villas, apartments, a hotel, and more. In addition to that, ₹6,500 crores for nine running residential and commercial real estate projects will provide built space for 10.5 million sq. ft. over the next four to five years. These investments aim to boost employment, infrastructure, and economic progress in West Bengal, capitalizing on the state's ongoing infrastructural advancements, including improved metro connectivity, road networks, and flight connectivity. Ambuja Neotia's strategic projects demonstrate their commitment to contributing to Bengal's overall growth and development.
