"Zindagi Zindabad" is Celebrated by Manipal Hospital Comprehensive Cancer Care Centre

News Desk, News Nation 360: Manipal Hospital Comprehensive Cancer Care Centre organised the Cancer Warrior Sports Summit ~ Zindagi Zindabad, a community engagement event to celebrate cancer survivors and patients in an environment of fun and festivity. An engaging platform was created to encourage cancer survivors and patients to overcome their illness with a spirit of adventure and companionship by focusing on post-treatment aspects like physical fitness and emotional well-being. The summit was graced by the presence of esteemed sports persons including former Indian footballer Mehtab Hossain, renowned ultramarathoner Anjali Saraogi, cricketer Anup Kumar Das and witnessed participation of eminent cancer specialists like Dr. Sourav Datta, Dr. Neha Choudhary, Dr. Debanjali Datta, Dr. Pooja Agarwal, Dr. Rajib De, Dr. Arunava Roy, Dr. Harsh Dhar, Dr. Kinshuk Chatterjee etc. from the departments of Surgery, Radiation Oncology, Haematology, and Gynaecological Oncology who engaged with the participants through various interactive and enjoyable activities like chess, carrom, ring toss, brain teasers and musical games. The cancer specialists motivated the gathering to break social stigma around cancer and lead physically and mentally strong lives.
