News Desk, News Nation 360 : The eighth running of the Tata Steel Kolkata 25K honoured the spirit of Kolkata on Friday by having five legendary champions at the 'Beyond the Finish Line' (BTFT) raise a toast to the inner strength of an athlete and their unwavering desire to reinvent themselves. Together with Empowerment Partner GoSports Foundation, Procam International is launching the Beyond the Finish Line initiative. Title Sponsor Tata Steel, Associate Sponsor IDFC First Bank, Official Cooldown Companion Bira Light, Telecast Partner Sony Sports 1, and Hospitality Partner Oberoi Grand Kolkata contributed to the glamorous event. The International Event Brand Ambassador Colin Jackson spoke about racism, winning, and having the inner strength to touch the winner's tape each time he took the track that evening. He also recalled Carl Lewis once told him in a competition that he needed to change one aspect of his game—stop losing—after he had won the world championship. It stirred up something inside of him. The rest is recorded in history. Archer Deepika Kumari discussed her hardships before entering the sport and said that when she first started archery, she had no idea how difficult completions were.
