SERVES FOR NATION

News Desk, News Nation 360: A new consumer study by Tata Tea Gold across West Bengal, conducted by Unomer, reveals that 68% of respondents in the 25–40 age group prefer spending their quality time having tea and a chat with their near and dear ones instead of receiving premium festive gifts and shopping vouchers. Moreover, 83% of the respondents felt that Durga Pujo ends before they can spend quality time with their family together, while 94% of them believe that tea gives them a natural excuse to have a pause and connect. Inspired by the study, Tata Tea Gold has come up with its Durga Pujo campaign, ‘Ekshathei Gold – Being Together is Gold,’ developed in association with marketing agency Monks. The campaign has a heartwarming TVC portraying the journey of a mother and her son across two different phases of their lives, which underlines how a cuppa gives a pause and stretches the moments spent together enjoying each other’s company. Sharat Verma, President of Packaged Beverages and Organic India, Tata Consumer Products, and Sandipan Bhattacharyya, Chief Creative Officer, Monks, noted that the campaign spot celebrates the sharing of simple unhurried moments as the best gifts during this festive season. To mark the theme, Tata Tea Gold introduced 4 specially curated festive packs portraying the iconic Durga Pujo traditions like dhunuchi dance, sindoor khela and more.
