News Desk, News Nation 360 : Apollo Cancer Centres (ACCs) today announced the creation of "CanWin," a cancer support network that unites everyone in their cancer journey, as a major step towards commemorating National Cancer Survivors Month. Speaking on the occasion, Dinesh Madhavan, President, Group Oncology & International, Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd, stated that the battle against cancer nowadays involves more than just cutting-edge treatments; it also needs human connection and emotional fortitude. Programs such as CanWin help close that gap by providing a forum for cancer survivors to talk, think, and recover, with medical professionals and carers supporting them. Empathy-driven storytelling transforms into a therapeutic tool that empowers both the speaker and the listener. CanWin exemplifies its dedication to establishing ecosystems where science and humans collaborate as they shift towards more holistic models of care. Founded on the premise that "shared strength can change lives," CanWin is a brand-free platform. It connects oncologists, psycho-oncologists, patients, survivors, caregivers, and volunteers. They are a caring community. This is a community based on empathy, comprehension, and support. This is not a group. It's a place to talk, listen, learn, and heal safely. If one has just been diagnosed and is dealing with treatment, someone is a caregiver for someone with cancer, or living cancer-free, know that they are not alone. CanWin is a name that brings two strong concepts together. There's a CAN in cancer. It is a subtle reminder of resilience and potential. And there's WIN. This isn't the end, but an attitude. It's a choice to rise with grit, with grace, and with determination. The program started with an emotional narratives session. This session was conducted by cancer survivors. They all took turns at centre stage to tell their own stories. These were stories of victory, resilience, and resilience. These stark and inspiring accounts were a source of hope. They navigated others who were on the same journey. The cancer winners who volunteered to relate their inspiring experiences were Aloke Mukherjee, Manini Ray, Gayatri Chatterjee, Mathummal Sudarshan, Jyoti Kejriwal, Bireswar Sarkar, and some other cancer winners.
