News Desk, News Nation 360 : The Bridging Culture and Arts Foundation (BCAF) presented "Vibrations Between Italy and India – The Contemporary Scene," an interactive exhibition by Italian artist Simona Frillici, curated by Bruno Corà and Reena Dewan, from February 28th through March 9th, 2025, and attended by high-profile visitors such as Shahanshah Mirza, Ruby Pal Choudhury, Samir Aich, and Raju Barman, with Frillici's "Vibrations" series, inspired by Paulo Barone's poetic philosophy and her 2020-2024 India travels, considering human reflections in mirror-like surfaces and on the transitory essence of shadows in large-scale, semi-transparent fabric installations that reacted to airflow, fusing art and science to visually represent quantum vibrations and catalyze cross-cultural exchange by drawing on ancient philosophies and on Rabindranath Tagore's cosmic vision; the exhibition, engaging Kolkata's energetic arts community with live performances and collaborations, celebrated creativity through openness and exchange, and then traveled to Varanasi, continuing to promote the artistic and cultural exchange between Italy and India. Reflecting on the significance of the event, Simona Frillici stated that culture must retain the human essence that promotes development and global openness. By combining traditions rather than dividing them, it should strengthen relationships between communities and enhance society. The world is genuinely dynamic because of its diversity, and art should be a unifying factor that brings people together rather than dividing them. Although the essence of art is nourished by change, it is not lamented in the most affluent cities, where money and business rule, but rather commodified and exhibited like an exhibition, but devoid of genuine emotion. For art to genuinely thrive, it needs people, communication, and the warmth of interpersonal relationships.
