Bharti Airtel Prepays Rs. 3,626 Crores to Settle all Debts of the 2016 Spectrum Purchase

News Desk, News Nation 360 : One of the top telecom service providers in India, Bharti Airtel ("Airtel"), announced recently that it has paid Rs. 3,626 crores to the Department of Telecom (Government of India), settling all of its debts related to spectrum it purchased in 2016. As a result, Airtel has now paid off all of its spectrum obligations with interest rates greater than 8.65%. This year, Airtel has paid out a total of Rs 28,320 crores in spectrum liabilities.
