News Desk, News Nation 360 : India's top producer of wood panels and ornamental items, Century Plyboards (India) Ltd., took part in Matecia 2025, one of the nation's top trade shows for interior design, building materials and architecture. The company displayed its latest developments in wood panel solutions, laminates and eco-friendly product lines, highlighting its aim of building responsibly while driving industry transformation. Shows like Matecia function as crucial industry platforms, bringing together architects, builders, manufacturers, and designers to engage in conversations, share ideas, test technologies, and establish future directions. For companies like CenturyPly, attending is priceless in showing product leadership, engaging stakeholders directly, understanding changing customer requirements, and fortifying industry alliances. These events amplify brand visibility and encourage the overall industry conversation on innovation, sustainability, and industry expansion. Speaking at the Matecia Building Materials Exhibition, CenturyPly Executive Director Keshav Bhajanka presented a powerful keynote speech, "Future Growth: Rise of Panel Products, Decorative & Interior Business." He appreciated the organisers for creating a pluralistic, innovative environment and looked back at the transformation of India's panel products industry from a preponderance of plywood fifteen years ago to the happening ecosystem of MDF, particle boards, PVC, engineered veneers, and high-end laminates that exists today. Mr. Bhajanka underlined the way in which India's housing boom, burgeoning middle-class aspirations, and increased role of architects, designers, and OEMs are transforming demand, particularly in Tier 2 and Tier 3 towns. With the market worth more than ₹75,000 crore and growing at a CAGR of 8–9%, he likened India's path to China's growth turning point two decades ago, urging the emergence of an Indian version of Home Depot to take mass retail and branded home-improvement solutions to scale.
