News Desk, News Nation 360 : The World Mithai& Namkeen Convention-Expo 2023 (WMNC) got underway today at Biswa Bangla Prangan in Kolkata with a magnificent ceremony officiated by Dr Shashi Panja, Cabinet Minister for Industries, Commerce & Enterprises, West Bengal. This three-day event, which takes place from December 17 to 19, 2023, in association with Mishti Udyog and DCSSTR, highlights the dynamism of the mithai, namkeen, and snack industries. With over 30,000 expected attendees and an impressive lineup of 300 stalls, industry leaders like Bikaji, Haldiram's, Bikano, and others have endorsed the event, confirming its position as a key platform for global trends and innovations. The General Secretary of FSNM, Vikram Agarwal, presented the organization's strategic objectives to assist members and promote expansion, while President Virender Jain stressed the importance of exhibiting the talent and entrepreneurial spirit of the area in Kolkata. WMNC organiser Firoz H. Naqvi thanked sponsors, exhibitors, FSNM members, and attendees, praising Mishti Udyog and the West Bengal Industrial Development Corporation for their essential contributions. With technology solution providers showing a strong interest in the event, it is expected to receive an unprecedented response, which will set the stage for the industry's explosive growth.
