SERVES FOR NATION
News Desk, News Nation 360 : Under BPCL's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, the Kolkata Society for Cultural Heritage (KSCH) & North Barrackpore Municipality, in partnership with BPCL, have successfully installed necessary medical equipment in Jamini Bhusan Memorial Maternity & General Hospital and Monirampur Poly Clinic, marking a significant advancement in healthcare access. To provide underprivileged populations with high-quality healthcare, this project seeks to improve diagnostic and critical care services. In the recent past, there was a major healthcare project initiated, the landmark equipping of several hospitals with some of the latest medical equipment, such as X-ray machines, Digital Radiography Panels, a 5-part Hematology Analyzer, a High-End Ultrasound Machine (USG) with 4 Pro A, and ICU Ventilator 9C Plus, which were designed to improve medical diagnostics, emergency services, and patient care altogether for the benefit of roughly 1.62 lakhs rural dwellers. The initiative, a tripartite cooperation between KSCH, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), and the local government, was preceded by a thorough assessment to determine which hospitals had the greatest needs, leading to an organized procurement and installation process. The inaugural ceremony, which was graced by prominent dignitaries, including the Honorable MP & MLA of Barrackpore, the Chief Manager (Admin-HRS), East of BPCL, the Chairman of North Barrackpore Municipality, and the Director of KSCH, reflected the cooperative efforts toward developing regional healthcare infrastructure. Regular usage of the new equipment will be taken care of by the hospital authorities, and KSCH field officers will inspect periodically to maintain sustained functioning. This project is the perfect example of the deep significance of corporate social responsibility in connecting health disparities and bringing life-saving medical innovation to marginalized populations, exemplifying the ability of synergy between public and private institutions in shaping a stronger and healthier society, with KSCH staying committed to the sustainability of the project through ongoing support and monitoring.
