Marwari Sanskriti Manch Illuminates Salt Lake with Deepawali Mahotsav 2025

News Desk, News Nation 360 : The Marwari Sanskriti Manch (MSM), the region's leading social and cultural organisation, organised its spectacular Deepawali Mahotsav 2025 at Boimela Prangan (Central Park Mela Ground), Salt Lake (Near Karunamoyee Metro Station). The festivities united thousands of seekers and guests for a night that harmoniously merged devotion, tradition, and celebration. The highlight of the evening was the Maha Aarti of the 24-ft tall idol of Goddess Mahalaxmi, performed by the Ladies Wing of Marwari Sanskriti Manch. The divine ceremony was

followed by a grand fireworks and musical show, a mesmerising display of synchronised digital lights and sound that filled the night sky with colour and joy, along with grand decorations and devotional performances reminiscent of Varanasi’s world-famous Dev Deepawali. The atmosphere of Central Park transformed into a dazzling landscape of worship and jubilation, symbolising the triumph of light over darkness. Speaking on the occasion, Lalit Beriwala, Chairman of the Governing Body of Marwari Sanskriti Manch, stated that the Deepawali Mahotsav has

traditionally been a means of bringing the community together through shared devotion and culture. Every year, the passion and participation remind them that this festival is more than just a celebration of lights; it is a reaffirmation of faith, unity, and the spirit of Kolkata. This year’s event also featured devotional performances, bhajans, cultural exhibitions and other attractions arranged by the Marwari Sanskriti Manch team. Visitors were treated to traditional décor, lighting installations and a joyous ambience that showcased the essence of Deepawali harmony, optimism and happiness.
