News Desk, News Nation 360 : The Management & Entrepreneurship and Professional Skills Council (MEPSC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Bhaktivedanta Research Centre (BRC) at a ceremony held in Kolkata, marking a significant step towards integrating India's rich knowledge traditions with modern skill development. Dr Sumanta Rudra, Managing Trustee of BRC, formally signed the MoU in the presence of MEPSC executives, and Nalanda Learning Systems Private Limited will serve as the PAN India Implementation Partner for this crucial purpose. Dr Sumanta Rudra, Managing Trustee – BRC, stated that at the Bhaktivedanta Research Centre, they see this relationship as a strategic and natural extension of their commitment to the Indian Knowledge System, which aligns with Vikshit Bharat's aspirations. Their institution has long been recognised internationally for its academic rigour and research brilliance. This MoU allows them to channel that expertise into preparing and empowering teachers who will educate India's future citizens. It also intends to integrate IKS into holistic learning, value-based education, early cognitive growth, and cultural grounding within the Pre-school Facilitators and Caregivers Certification Program. In pursuit of this, MEPSC will create training content based on IKS for early childhood educators, develop modules with researched content on child development, cultural literacy, and character formation, and collaborate with BRC on research regarding learning methods inspired by ancient Indian pedagogy. The MoU also commits to exploring long-term collaboration in curriculum innovation, faculty development, and emerging skill requirements for early childhood care. A knowledge exchange program will place BRC scholars into the training ecosystem at MEPSC to reinforce the commitment towards NEP 2020 goals in integrating IKS into education at all levels, but particularly early childhood, viewed as foundational for lifelong learning.
