News Desk, News Nation 360 : The seven-day 'Shri Pranab Mahamilan Mela' began at Manmathpur Pranab Mandir, Rural Sevakendra of Bharat Sevashram Sangh in Rabindra Gramme Panchayat of Kakdwip, South 24 Parganas, on the celebration of Basanti Puja and Ram Navami. This fair, which originated in Pahela Boishakh, features stalls featuring a variety of spiritual topics. The day following Basanti Puja, the fair concludes. On the day of Mahashasthi, 129 mothers recited 129
conch sounds to call and reside Goddess Basanti in honour of Acharya Shrimat Swami Pranavanandaji Maharaj, the founder of Bharat Sevashram Sangha, who is celebrating his 129th advent year. A total of 129 pupils from Swami Pranabananda Vidyamandir honoured their parents. 129 mothers received books written by Sri Sri Chandi. 129 virgin females worshipped Lord Sri Ram, and Swami Pranavananda Atmabandhan Seva Samman was given to 129 couples as a token of appreciation. In addition, to bring people from all around the area together, evening entertainment centred on the yatra, baul, chaunrita, and vichitra programmes is arranged on different days. Many notable members of the local government came together for this Mahamilan Mela, which warmed the hearts of people all around the district.
