News Desk, News Nation 360 : With great pride, Hindusthan Club Ltd. revealed the second season of the eagerly awaited "Hindusthan Club Marathon Raising the Dust." Set for Sunday, December 8, 2024, this event honours Kolkata's thriving running culture and upholds the city's values of fitness, camaraderie, and zeal. The press briefing featured the unveiling of numerous major marathon highlights, such as the race bibs, a gorgeously designed medal, and the exclusive participant T-shirt. These components inspire enthusiasm among runners and fans by symbolising the event's tenacity and resolve. The marathon is a historic athletic event in South Kolkata that allows runners to take in the city's charm while navigating its famous streets. The event has three fascinating categories: 3 KM fun run, 5 KM and 10 KM timed runs. This prestigious event was graced by the club's esteemed dignitaries with President Rishabh C. Kothari, Honorary Secretary Chandra Sekhar Sarda, and Sports Chairperson Swati Bihani being the prominent ones. The Marathon Organising Committee, headed by members Saurabh M. Shah, Prateek Bihani, Mehul Damani, Jigar Malani, and Anand Goenka played a crucial role in the success of the marathon. The Race Director of the event is Vaibhav Pandya, a renowned Kolkata marathoner who ensured an uninterrupted, highly competitive race for all the participants. Speaking at the press conference, President Rishabh C. Kothari remarked that the Hindusthan Club Marathon is a celebration of community, healthy living, and individual accomplishments rather than just a race. We had about 1,000 runners participate the previous year. Our goal with Season 2 is to exceed expectations without sacrificing quality. We've included new elements this year, such as age-category podiums and a special 5 KM loop, to guarantee inclusion and participation for all competitors.
