News Desk, News Nation 360: Xiaomi India has unveiled its new smartphone, the REDMI Note 17 5G, which has a huge 8,000mAh silicon-carbon battery housed in an 8.4mm thin body. It supports 45W turbo charging and 22.5W reverse wired charging. Driven by a 4nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 processor that comes with up to 16GB RAM (including virtual expansion), 2TB expandable storage and 10,416mm² graphite cooling technology, it comes with a 6.9-inch 120Hz TrueColour AMOLED display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i and IP65 dust & water resistance. The optics feature a 50MP AI Dual Rear Camera and 8MP Front Camera powered by the Android 16-based HyperOS 3 operating system, offering 4 years of OS updates and 6 years security updates commitment. Available in three colours – Dark Night, Arctic Blue, Starlight Purple, the REDMI Note 17 5G is priced from an introductory price of ₹24,999 for the 6GB + 128GB variant (MRP ₹27,999) and ₹27,999 for 8GB + 128GB variant (MRP ₹30,999) along with selected bank discounts starting 13th Aug 2026 onwards on mi.com, Amazon and Xiaomi stores.
