SERVES FOR NATION
News Desk, News Nation 360 : SAI International Education Group proudly launched their flagship event, UNWIND 2025, today, to an enthusiastic crowd of over 25,000 people. UNWIND, one of India's largest school-based, student-led cultural festivals, celebrated the power of creativity, leadership, and collaboration among young learners in its 17th edition. The visionary legacy of Late Dr Bijaya Kumar Sahoo continues to shine through the steadfast leadership of Dr Silpi Sahoo, Chairperson, SAI International Education Group, who has carried his mission forward with unwavering dedication. Sharing her thoughts on this year’s fest, Dr Silpi Sahoo stated that UNWIND 2025 is a testament to the boundless potential of their students. Witnessing their imagination, discipline, and collaborative spirit unfold so beautifully is truly inspiring. The guiding vision of their Founder remains deeply embedded in everything they do as they shape future-ready leaders who embody values, empathy, and global excellence. The UNWIND festival, themed as "Limitless Beyond: Reach the Stars!", was held on the campus, offering a galaxy of experiences, all led by Kung Fu Panda,
who embodies courage, joy, and self-discipline. Conceived by the students of Class XI Commerce and Humanities, the event reflects the philosophy of UNWIND-an experiential learning platform conceptualised in 2008 by Dr Bijaya Kumar Sahoo-to ensure creativity, confidence, entrepreneurial thinking, and emotional intelligence surpass the textbooks. Inaugurating the festival with the presentation of Business & Humanities Model Awards, the Chief Guest also toured student-led stalls, praising their creativity and entrepreneurship. UNWIND is a philanthropic, student-driven event, supported by companies. Proceeds from UNWIND are used for the promotion of the Dr Bijaya Kumar Sahoo 100 Library Project, envisioned to set up comprehensive libraries in government and private schools of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack to inculcate reading habits and curiosity among children, aligning with the UN's Quality Education for All goal. The key highlight of the day was the collaboration with Living Humanity, inviting 30 students from the underprivileged Palli Unnayan Seva Samiti residential school in Bhubaneswar to experience the UNWIND festival and also gifted books under the 100 Libraries Project to cater to their eagerness to learn and build a better future for themselves, showcasing SAI International's commitment to inclusive, holistic education.
