SAIMUN 2025 Welcomes 26 Schools and 23 Countries to a Single Worldwide Platform

News Desk, News Nation 360 : Recently, SAI International Education Group, one of India's top educational institutions, will proudly host the 13th edition of the SAI Model United Nations (SAIMUN), its premier international diplomacy simulation. The Chief Guest, Shri Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo, Hon. Deputy Chief Minister, Department of Agriculture and Energy, Government of Odisha, graced the opening ceremony. More than seven hundred student representatives from twenty-six top universities and twenty-three countries participated in the respected conference. 26 schools took part in SAIMUN 2025, demonstrating a wide range of domestic and foreign educational establishments. Along with Iconic Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya, the government schools taking part are PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya Nos. 1, 2, and 3 in Bhubaneswar, PM Shri Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya in Mundali, Cuttack, and DM School in Bhubaneswar. Prominent private schools participating include Samata International School from Shirdi, KC Public School from Jammu, Sunbeam Lahartara and Sunbeam Bhagwanpur from Varanasi, Podar Pearl School from Doha, and Shree Niketan Patasala from Chennai. Several student delegates are also joining from Central

Academy, Ranchi; Delhi Public School Kalinga in Cuttack; Mother's Public School, St. Joseph's High School, ODM Global School, and Naidu Concept School in Bhubaneswar; and Canadian International School, Bengaluru. SAIMUN 2025 had 10 dynamic committees like UNGA-DISEC, UNSC, UNHCR, UN-Women, UNFCCC, WHO, Indian Parliament, ICC, UNICEF, and International Press Corps, which allowed students to delve thoroughly into international issues through simulated diplomatic discussions, thus polishing their skills in diplomacy, negotiation, problem-solving, and international relations and governance. In a compassionate service activity exemplifying empathy and diversity, SAI International School students and international delegates went to a school for children with mental disabilities, dispersing kindness messages of inclusive thinking and world citizenship, mirroring SAIMUN's commitment to building a better world by working together. The inauguration ceremony also celebrated academic and entrepreneurial distinction by awarding Science, Commerce, and Humanities toppers with the Dr. Bijaya Kumar Sahoo Global SAIoneer Award and the Dr. Bijaya Kumar Sahoo Emerging Entrepreneur Award to promote innovation and leadership, to honour the visionary founder of SAI International and to reiterate the institution's commitment to building future-ready global leaders.
