Sales of the New Nissan Magnite Reach A Record-breaking 99,000 Units in a Single Year

News Desk, News Nation 360 : Despite numerous challenges facing the domestic auto sector, Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd. (NMIPL) maintained steady and sustainable growth in India, achieving the greatest single-year performance for FY 2024–25 in the previous seven years. The New Nissan Magnite, which is still a cornerstone of Nissan's domestic business strategy and an essential component of the company's international export activities, continues to be successful throughout the year. With the introduction of the New Nissan Magnite in October 2024, Nissan Motor India registered a total domestic volume of over 28,000 units in FY 2024-25. Despite the growing consumer demand for alternative fuel cars in India's B-SUV market, this impressive result was nevertheless achieved. Commenting on the performance, Frank Torres, Divisional Vice President of AMIEO Region Business Transformation & President of Nissan India Operations, stated that thanks to the Nissan Magnite's ongoing success, India continues to be a solid growth pillar for Nissan. This year, the new Nissan Magnite's exports reached more than 65 countries, including LHD markets. Nissan has exponentially grown its exports, now reaching more than 65 global markets from only 20, and they recorded their highest ever export sales with over 71,000 vehicles, indicating that India is becoming a significant location for Nissan to produce and export automobiles around the world. This increased the company's total sales to over 99,000 vehicles in the financial year 2024-25. Concerning the transformation of their Indian business operations as part of a worldwide strategy to enhance, Nissan announced that they are still committed to the Indian market, their customers, dealers, employees, and other partners, and they will keep on selling and servicing both new and existing car models. Nissan's strategy to launch one new B-MPV and two new C-SUVs in India remains intact, and they will continue to export cars to other nations as part of their global strategy. This reorganization is part of a global effort to transform Nissan into a leaner and more responsive company, and this shift requires the approval of regulatory authorities and is likely to be completed by mid-2025.
