News Desk, News Nation 360 : On the auspicious occasion of Dev Deepawali, the majestic premises of Seth Bansidhar Jalan Smriti Mandir, Howrah, were filled with divine brilliance and devotion. The temple complex, decked with flowers and thousands of brilliant lamps, shone brightly as devotees gathered in vast numbers to commemorate this solemn event on the banks of the holy Ganga. The evening began with heartfelt bhajans, kirtans, and havan led by Rishikesh-based Acharya Dilip Ji and temple Sanskrit school students. The event also featured a mesmerising Vedic chanting session by Acharya Ram Roop Mishra, Principal of Shanti Devi International Vedic School, and 10 young Vedic scholars, which was well received by the crowd. Sudhir Jalan, Chief Trustee of the temple, addressed the gathering and spoke about the temple's great legacy. Their ancestors founded this temple 72 years ago with the noble goal of conserving and developing Sanatan Dharma and its timeless principles. Over the years, Seth Bansidhar Jalan Smriti Mandir has grown into a thriving spiritual and cultural hub for Howrah devotees. The freshly built Dwadash Jyotirlinga complex within the temple is incredibly exquisite, allowing devotees to receive the blessings of all twelve Jyotirlingas in one sacred location. The 61-foot-tall statue of Lord Shiva on the Ganga Ghat, one of the highest in Eastern India, represents faith and devotion. The chief guest, Param Pujya Chidanand Muni Saraswati Ji, President of Parmarth Niketan, Rishikesh, could not be physically present due to unforeseen circumstances. Nonetheless, the event was celebrated with great grandeur and devotion. Distinguished guests on stage were Radhe Shyam G. Goenka, Chairman of Emami Group and Temple Trustee, Lakshmi Niwas Bangar, and Alka Bangar.
