Based on an actual event, the movie follows the life of Nasir Shaikh, an amateur filmmaker who, with his friends, revitalises Malegaon, a small Maharashtra village, by turning it into a centre of filmmaking love. Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar, Zoya Akhtar, and Reema Kagti are the producers of Superboys of Malegaon, a production of Tiger Baby and Excel Entertainment. Varun Grover wrote the screenplay while Reema Kagti directed the film. Adarsh Gourav, Shashank Arora, Vineet Kumar Singh, Anuj Singh Duhan, Saqib Ayub, Pallav Singh, Manjiri Pupala, Muskkaan Jaferi, and Riddhi Kumar are among the ensemble cast's many skilled members.
