Tata Steel Colours Received Recognition in the 20th She Excellence Awards for the CII Eastern Region

News Desk, News Nation 360: Tata Steel Colours Private Limited, Coates Steel Plant, Jamshedpur, was conferred the award for the 1st position in the Large-Scale Manufacturing category in the 20th CII Eastern Region Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) Excellence Awards 2025–26, organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), at Biswa Bangla Exhibition Centre in New Town, Kolkata. Tata Steel’s Manufacturing Facility bagged the award by competing with more than 90 industry participants in Eastern India and was recognized for exemplary implementation of comprehensive Safety Management Systems, Human-Machine Interface (HMI) Safety, digitization of Hazard Tracking, Perimeter Line Safeguarding, and robust Mechanical-Electrical Interlocking systems to avoid undesired machine actuation and prevent workplace hazards; received by Vishal Pandey (AGM – SHE) along with team members Samresh Kumar and Vinay Verma, the award marks the company’s safe work culture and Managing Director Mr. Praveen V. Thampi said that the honor reflects the organization’s relentless efforts on engineering controls, prevention of risk and its path to drive Zero Harm.
