The 15th "Ananda Sandhya" Was Celebrated in a Lively Atmosphere Full of Music, Drama, and Culture

News Desk, News Nation 360: The West Bengal Scheduled Castes & Scheduled Tribes Employees’ Association (Commercial Taxes Department) held its fifteenth annual cultural evening, “Ananda Sandhya”, on Friday, September 25, 2026, at the historic University of Calcutta Institute Auditorium, providing civics service personnel with a forum to cultivate institutional solidarity, community bonding and cultural camaraderie beyond administrative duties. The convention was graced by Smt. Sudeshna Mukherjee, Special Commissioner (Admin) at the Directorate of Commercial Taxes, West Bengal, who served as Chief Guest along with Special Commissioner Sri Bablu Mondal and Association President and Special Commissioner Smt. Nilima Mondal, marking the occasion by unveiling the association’s commemorative flagship publication, “Nirnay”, depicting the body’s developmental milestones and grassroots welfare outreach before mounting a collaborative departmental staging of the acclaimed drama “Shikar” under the direction of Pintu Mondal and a headline musical recital by celebrated vocalist Srikanto Acharya, whose soulful renditions drew heartfelt acclaim from a capacity audience of tax officers and staff.
