News Desk, News Nation 360 : At a lavish press conference in Kolkata, BIG FM, one of the country's top radio stations, launched the most recent iteration of its eagerly anticipated "BIG Green Durga" campaign. Popular actress Ishaa Saha attended the ceremony, introducing the campaign and endorsing this special fusion of sustainability and dedication. The focal point of this year's event is

a 3D holographic idol of Maa Durga, a first-of-its-kind, environmentally friendly invention in the city. This digital depiction, which is devoid of clay, carbon, and immersion, maintains the grandeur of Durga Puja while acting as a potent symbol of a more environmentally friendly, sustainable future. Speaking on the initiative, Sunil Kumaran, CEO, BIG FM, stated that Durga Puja is a celebration of both responsibility and devotion. Their goal with BIG Green Durga is to celebrate Maa Durga in the most environmentally friendly manner possible while encouraging full community involvement. They are dedicated to creating a more environmentally friendly future. The campaign leans heavily on sustainability by engaging the community through BIG FM's RJs, who visit more than 50 RWAs, colleges, and paras to meet with devotees, encourage green practices, and felicitate those embracing green initiatives. A five-day event at a popular mall will include live interactions, emcee events, and RJ-led activities to ensure the festive mood is enjoyed responsibly. The BIG Shakti Awards support this effort by honouring ten woman entrepreneurs in sustainability, each representing one of Maa Durga's astras, whose inspiring stories of determination and sense of responsibility are meant to inspire the community. The highlight of the campaign is the BIG Studio @Mandap, a solar-powered zone where popular Kolkata RJs will be broadcasting live, playing with celebrities, and engaging with devotees straight from the pandal, providing a closely immersive festive experience. BIG FM will further propagate the sustainability message through its on-air and digital platforms by sharing motivational tales, green living tips from experts, and real-time reports from Kolkata's pandals.
