'The Great Sons and Daughters of India' Unveiled

News Desk, News Nation 360: A commemorative biographical volume titled ‘The Great Sons and Daughters of India’, authored by Soumak Palit, was released at Kolkata on September 2, 2026, in the presence of family members and descendants of legendary freedom fighters from Bengal's revolutionary movement, including Pulin Behari Das, Ullaskar Dutta, Masterda Surya Sen, Deshbandhu Chittaranjan Das, and Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, and the family of celebrated satirist and nationalist writer Rajshekhar Basu (Parashuram). The book chronicles the inspiring life stories, armed resistance, and sacrifices of 30 iconic revolutionaries and has been published by Basudhananda Books & Publication at a retail price of ₹1,050 as a dedicated documentation of India's revolutionary freedom struggle. The 464-page historical biographical work recounts the lives of famous leaders and revolutionaries who played a pivotal role in the freedom struggle.
