The ICC Social Impact Award was Awarded to the Bhakti Vedanta Research Centre

News Desk, News Nation 360 : The Bhaktivedanta Research Centre in Kolkata has long been dedicated to preserving old manuscripts and documents as well as promoting Indian literature, philosophy, and culture. The organisation received this year's Indian Chamber of Commerce Social Impact Award in recognition of its exceptional work in the social sector. At a ceremony in Kolkata, Governor CV Anand Bose gave Balram Leela Prabhu, the dean of the Bhakti Vedanta Research Centre, the ICC Social Impact Award. Since 2019, ICC has presented this award at the national level to honour exceptional contributions made to the social sector. Recipients of awards are chosen from corporate, nonprofit, and other applying organisations. The most importance is placed on creative work that advances social development when bestowing this award. Deputy Registrar Aradhya Bhagwan Das, Development Advisor Anurag Sharma, and Development Head Anurag Parekh of the Bhaktivedanta Research Centre were present to receive the award. According to Sumanta Rudra, dean of the Bhaktivedanta Research Centre, Infomerics granted the centre's Grade One NGO status a while back. They will be even more motivated to conduct similar research in the future thanks to this ICC award.
