SERVES FOR NATION
News Desk. News Nation 360 : With the goal of empowering women by resource sharing and cooperative networking, the Kolkata Ladies League (KLL), an all-women collective with over 60 members from various professional backgrounds, was formally established in April 2026. Founding members Aditi Dutta (Akar), Swati Chakraborty Das (Mishti Bahar), and Soma Chakraborty (Co-Founder & MD, Goodace Hospital) attended the first event, which included a joyous Baishakhi Adda to commemorate the Bengali New Year. In addition to commercial networking, the launch included a socially inclusive element through intergenerational relationships with "Tomar Thikana" inhabitants, reaffirming the league's dedication to creating a community environment that is supportive. Soma Chakraborty stressed that the KLL is intended to be a place where cooperation rather than rivalry propels growth, giving female entrepreneurs—from micro-scale to well-established industries—a forum to share knowledge, grow their businesses, and contribute to West Bengal's larger entrepreneurial scene.
